【Job Profile】

The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting project management activities across the company. This will include delivery of new product development projects for RUO/IVD/Bioinformatics products, as well as corporate projects where appropriate. The project manager will be the overall project lead and will be accountable for planning, execution and delivery while managing stakeholders, budgets, timelines under the quality management system (QMS) framework.

【Job Responsibilities】
  • Independently lead cross functional teams in the execution of project deliverables.
  • Work closely with Research & Development, Regulatory, Lab Operations, Software, Bioinformatics, Sales, Marketing and other departments, including external partners when needed.
  • Be the team’s motivator and role model even during turbulent and stressful times.
  • Continuously identify and lead process improvements efforts for greater organizational efficiency.
【Leadership】
  • Be the project champion. Demonstrate ownership and accountability.
  • Work with the project team and key stakeholders to set project objectives and drive delivery.
  • Maintain focus and provide clear direction to the teams.
  • Understand the business rationale and commercial importance of the project.
  • Understand the scientific / technical basis behind the project
[Communication]
  • Manage communications to stakeholders (team members, functional managers, senior management and development partners).
  • Ensure effective communications within the project team using a variety of tools and channels.
  • Able to influence and negotiate.
[Problem solving]
  • Identify key decisions and drive the decision-making process.
  • Lead the team through problem resolution and corrective action.    
  • Able to collect information from multiple sources, analyze, integrate, and resolve conflicting requirements to drive the organization towards successful product or service launch.
[Planning, managing and execution]
  • Manage the project planning process. Build a realistic schedule, understand the critical path. Re-evaluate the plan frequently.
  • Ensure that the project is tracked and all project deliverables (quality, performance, cost, schedule, and revenue) are met within agreed parameters.
  • Define project resource needs and negotiate with departmental functions on projected and actual resource requirements.
[Process improvements]
  • Evaluate existing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes/templates to drive efficiency and consistency.
  • Conduct process reviews and capture lessons learned.
[General]
  • Ensure that all project work is in accordance with the company QMS and at a standard that supports regulatory submissions.
